Born and raised in the Chapin area, Rodney graduated from Chapin High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a Veteran of Desert Storm/Shield. After the Marine Corps, Rodney served with the South Carolina Highway Patrol for 26 years, retiring as a Sergeant. After his retirement, Rodney began working in real estate. He says, “ Throughout my career in the Marine Corps and Highway Patrol, I really enjoyed helping people.
