The Senators Park area of Columbia is tucked away off of bustling Forest Drive. These quaint gated communities — a rarity in downtown Columbia — consist of the Quinine Hill, Millpond, and Senators Park neighborhoods. Charming small streets — some cobblestone — wind throughout the communities and lead to private pools, a community pond, and close knit neighbors. Some of these neighborhoods date back centuries: Quinine Hill received its name as an area of Columbia free from malaria in the early 1800s.
